What adventure activities does Pixistan cover?+
K2 and Nanga Parbat base-camp treks, Fairy Meadows, Rakaposhi Base Camp, Deosai, Naran-Kaghan, paragliding at Khanpur, jeep safaris on the KKH, and winter skiing at Malam Jabba.
When is the trekking and climbing season?+
The high-altitude window in the Karakoram and Himalaya is roughly late May to early October. Winter expeditions on Nanga Parbat happen December to February.
Do I need permits for trekking and climbing photography?+
Peaks above 6,500 m require a climbing permit from the Alpine Club of Pakistan. Restricted zones near the LoC or Chinese border need a No-Objection Certificate from the local district office.
How much does an adventure photo cost to license?+
