Public exterior photography is allowed at almost every site. Inside prayer halls and shrines, ask the caretaker first and dress modestly. Interior tripod use often needs written permission.

Entry tickets are small (PKR 30 to 500). Professional shoots at UNESCO-listed sites (Lahore Fort, Shalimar Gardens, Rohtas Fort, Makli, Mohenjo-daro, Taxila) require prior approval from the Department of Archaeology.
