When is the best time to photograph nature in Pakistan?+
For the northern mountains and alpine lakes, the road window is roughly May to October. Autumn foliage in Hunza and Skardu peaks late October. In the south, November to March is the dry, clear-sky window for desert, coast and Balochistan.
Do I need a permit to photograph in national parks?+
Central Karakoram, Deosai and Khunjerab National Parks charge a small day-use fee at the gate. Restricted border zones in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir need a No-Objection Certificate from the local district office.
How much does a nature photo cost to license?+
