What is golden hour and blue hour?
Golden hour is the period shortly after sunrise / before sunset when the sun is low (0–6° above horizon), producing warm, soft light favoured by photographers. Blue hour is when the sun is 4–6° below the horizon — sky retains deep blue light, ideal for cityscapes and twilight portraits.
Best location in Pakistan for Milky Way photography?
Deosai Plateau (4,114m, Bortle 1) is world-class — practically no light pollution, only accessible June–September. Hunza, Skardu, Fairy Meadows are excellent year-round. Cholistan Desert is the best winter option.
When is Milky Way core visible in Pakistan?
The galactic core is visible from late February (pre-dawn) through October (just after sunset) at Pakistan's latitude. Peak visibility: May–August, rising after dark, high in the southern sky.
